Privacy in the beta

Updated 24 October 2026

DriverPocket is operated by Vivekan Kangatharan. This beta stores the income and expenses you enter, driving mileage and hours, account dates, subscription status and feedback. Your enabled sign-in provider supplies a verified account identifier and profile. Existing beta accounts use ChatGPT. Additional provider sign-in uses Supabase Auth when enabled.

How records are used

Records provide your tracker, summaries, cloud saving and recovery. Each account’s records are separated using its verified account identifier. The operator can administer the underlying service. Do not enter bank details, passwords or passenger information.

Storage and recovery

Hosting uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Supabase provides the additional account authentication service. Your current records and up to 30 previous saved revisions are retained. Snapshots cannot guarantee recovery from every form of loss. Download independent backups regularly. Older browser records are imported only when you choose to import them.

Payments and other logins

Payments are not enabled in this beta. If enabled later, Stripe will process payments and subscriptions. Only configured sign-in options are shown. Google, Facebook and email access are being prepared; phone and WhatsApp verification are not available. Different sign-in methods currently create separate accounts. Authentication cookies keep you signed in.

Your choices

You can export records, download recovery snapshots and clear your stored records and snapshots in account controls. Submit privacy questions or account removal requests through your tracker’s feedback form, which is available to the operator. Only essential browser preferences are stored; this app adds no advertising trackers.
